History repeats one more time....

hi frnds

not for the first time.... its happening for the nth time... that god made me go through Mental trauma before giving me anything.

Starting from Birth
to Engineering
to Campus Selection
to Joining Company
to getting into JB
and now getting a summer placement too....

uufffff me tired of all this.. some times it seems that its not god... its me.. i dont have calibre and not able to perform or not at right place...

for summers i been thro lets see how many componies... (tommm list may increase)

whats not taught at B School - part 3

1. Achieve what u want in life. what may come.. have patience.

2. Drive the business, dont wait for market to drive you.

3. Remove people where they are miss managed.. not where they are working

4. Keep ur WIP small... avoid constipation process.

5. You cant use your resources to the fullest; like doctors, maintaince etc.

6. remember your job is to get the work done, not keep the employees busy.

7. Customer never want how u had made the product, they are concerned with what price u sell.

8. Think big like a bank robber not like a small petty pick pocketer.

9. Convince yourself first, then we will try to sell / convince others.

10. Start producing at 1/3rd of the demand dont process more... u will end up with overcapacity.

11. 35-35-30 three lines is better than one 100 item line.

12. MBWA, Manage by wandering around.

13. See as a helicopter view.

14. Those who dont change should get out of he way of those who are doing it.

15. Impossible is not a fact, its an opinion.... its a challenge, its a dare.

16. In case of Marketing, never follow the crowd.

What is not taught at a B School.... PART 2

1. For a Manager, knowledge is power...

2. Manager should say no, when he have to say no... it needs guts to say no..

3. Give parties, encourage drinking in parties....

4. No manager can lead from the top.. he has to come down to the level of employees...

5. Risk is breaking all dogma.... making change is real manager.

6. progress is breaking Status Quo... be a MAN!!

7. do Measured speaking.

8. Engage lawyer from the local language speaking court.

9. Never sign a gurantee - No Excuse.... u have to pay..

10. Concentrate on ur top team.. u cant control everyone.

11. Identify ur strengths and change the game as per that.

12. while sleeping and getting up think abt what best u have done that day!

13. Life is too short to delay things. have to do alot in small time.

14. Learn by doing ... karam vidya

15. think 1800 runs in a match (all 6 per ball) visualize full potential... doesn't matter how much u achieve.

16. Enter the heart and mind of the person u talk to.

17. dont be judgemental shift ur paradigm.

18. Everything should have human touch, touch heart.

19. Stick to ur core values... diversify with some different name... TATA underwear.

What is not taught at a B School.... PART 1

hi all

me back with the list of things which are not taught in almost every B school.... JBIMS is different our faculty has designed the course as per corporate requirement.

here is the list of the things not taught...

1. Start every meeting with the problems faced first.

2. If u are a manufacturer what if PM of India calls u for an order! u will do his work tailor made for him right..... Think every customer as PM of India.

3. Reduce your maximum costs. eg Ambuja best in cement cuz min cost of power used.

4. Be extra sensitive to people:
a) people in sales.
b) people in Operations ( on shop floor)

5. People perform on parameters which are measured.

6. if a person buy ur product 3rd time. Then only the product is a success.

7. Suppliers and Vendors are like Married partners of ur company.

8. Start ur day with the goal in mind. Each worker starts by standing on a green circle and pledge to safety first.

9. perceptions are like baggages shed them.

10. Manager’s job is to align perceptions. Ideas / perceptions flow all directions

11. Send ur finance guy to Mktg one day and vice versa.. to know how it feels to be in other’s shoe.

12. first few days try to learn the envt, then start taking decision.

13. Give party…. Best dressed, best behavior awards.

14. CEO should not have a cabin… he should be roaming..

15. feel free to talk two level below in ur organization hierarchy

16. rate ur employees: Outstanding / superior / avg / stop incentive / sack
